The African American Clergy  Council of Northern Nevada was established in 2012 when a group of Pastors saw fit to join together and bring about a positive change in the Reno and Sparks communities.

The African American Clergy Council of Northern Nevada is a group of humble men, who are often found with a smile, encouraging others and giving pats on the back. We serve graciously in many capacities as Religious, Civic and Community Leaders. We are bringing awareness of our mission: Pastors uniting to support our community, focusing on Youth and Families, Health, Education, Job Development and Crime Prevention.
We have shared our mandate with leaders of State, County, City and Local Government Agencies, Elected Officials, Campaign Candidates, Leaders of Corporations and Local Business Owners including but not limited to:

State of Nevada Department of Education
Nevada State Public Charter School Authority
Washoe County Sheriff’s Department
Washoe County Department of Social Services
Washoe County School District
City of Reno Mayor and City Council
City of Sparks Mayor and City Council
The Chamber Reno Sparks of Northern Nevada

We have the ability to bring together diverse community groups to solve complex problems while working to “Bridge-the-Gap” in the African American Community by offering areas of support to the State, County, City and Local Agencies.
Our endeavor is to bring awareness about Elections to the African American community by scheduling events and inviting various Candidates to introduce themselves and share their issues with the African American Voters so they will be prepared when submitting their ballot at the polls.
